I am a Postdoctoral Associate at MBZUAI, mentored by
Prof. Dr. Salman Khan and working closely with
Prof. Dr. Fahad Shahbaz Khan on World Model🌍.
I achived my Ph.D. degree in Artificial Intelligence from the
Italian National Artificial Intelligence Program
co-organized by the University of Trento, Italy and
the University of Pisa, Italy under the joint supervision of
Prof. Dr. Nicu Sebe and
Prof. Dr. Rita Cucchiara.
During my Ph.D. time, I spent time at ETH Zürich and INSAIT as visiting Ph.D. student with
Prof. Dr. Luc Van Gool.
I also work closely with Prof. Dr. Ming-Hsuan Yang.
Prior to my Ph.D. studies, I received my master's degree under the supervision of
Prof. Dr. Hong Liu from
Peking University, China, and received my B.Eng. degree from
Central South University, China.
My research interests lie in the intersection of computer vision, and deep learning.
Motivated by exploring more informative deep representations by Vision Transformers (I like ViTs!), I have worked mainly on tasks like:
Low-Level Vision (2D),
Scene Understanding (3D),
and Multimodal Reasoning for various interesting applications.
